Current

Biography

I am interested in studying and developing new combustion and propulsion systems.

Currently, I am coordinating the studies planned and performed in the KAUST-Volvo test benches. We are studying the potential of different technologies toward high efficiency in heavy duty engines. For that, we are using two test cells based on the Volvo D13 engine: the first is full metal used for efficiency assessment and the second is equipped with optical access used to perform more comprehensive and fundamental research work. We are also building two additional similar test cells that will be used to study the potential of multi injectors and multi spark plugs for improving the engine efficiency and emissions.
