Current Research Topic: In Situ Spray Momentum Measurement with Fast Acting High-Pressure Solenoid HD Direct Injector Using Single and Multiple Injections Events on Internal Combustion Engine.
Details: The strategic control of injection duration and separation interval of multi-injections holds potential for high-efficiency isobaric combustion engines. In this project, we analyze injection rates of single and multi-injection events of the internal combustion engine. The aim is to have experimental configuration copes with the side effects of acoustics and pressure wave caused by the injection system of the engine. A piezoelectric pressure sensor mounted directly to solenoid HD direct injector inclined with the spray angle. A cylindrical vessel is implemented for the calibration of the total mass injected.
